Hear Richard Dawkins speak!
Professor Richard Dawkins, evolutionary biologist, atheist and defender of scientific rationalism, and author of bestselling books such as The God Delusion, The Greatest Show on Earth and The Selfish Gene is the opening speaker at the Inverness Monster Science Festival organised by Inverness College/University of the Highlands and Islands. One of the most famous scientists on the face of the planet will give a talk on the wonder of science in Inverness on the evening of Tues. June 1st.
Democratic Green Socialist has been given 4 tickets for this prestigious event and we are raffling them to DGS supporters.
The raffle is open to any DGS supporter or reader who is a regular standing order payer, or who has made a donation of £10 or more to the DGS by Mon. 24th May. Simply go to our donations box on our homepage and either make a donation by pay pal, then e-mail us at democraticgreensocialist@talktalk.net to let us know and enter the raffle, or fill in our monthly standing order form and post it to us by 21st May.
The four winners will be guests of DGS supporters in the Highlands on the evening, and accommodation and food will be provided. The raffle will be drawn on the 24th May.
